Paolo is a powerful mob boss who gambles with those he extorts. If you're lucky he'll leave you alone. But if you aren't, he is liable to shrink you and make you his plaything. He channels magic through cards and dice and can cheat the numbers with sheer will, meaning the odds are always stacked against your favor.
His physical form is the result of laboratory testing that left his body so bruised and scarred the scientists nearly scrapped him as a test subject entirely. Instead, he went through an experimental surgery to have his head implanted on a different rat's body. Once thin and chiseled, he is now overweight and soft in his new form. He gives into urges from his body's lingering desires quite often, including copious amounts of food and self-pleasure. Paolo feels connected to the rat that died so he could live on, often treating his body as another person, talking to it and massaging his own belly or shoulders.
Paolo commands a gang of bird, rat and weasel clones who do his bidding. He swears revenge on the laboratory that fucked him up, funneling most of his fortune into finding the bastard head scientist that did this to him.
